  • Research presentation at the NJBDA (New Jersey Big Data Association) 2019 Research Symposium (November, 2019): “Gender Bias in Technology Domains”. Presented the unique positioning of my current research stream and presented frameworks for addressing gender bias issues.
  • Conference Presenter for David M Levine Award winning paper- Northeast Decision Sciences Institute (NEDSI), Providence, Rhode Island – 2018; Conducted a session on how women’s participation in science and technology can be improved through addressing specific barriers, namely gender bias.
  • Conference Presenter – 3rd International Globalization, Diversity and Education Conference, Spokane, WA – 2007, Presented on the importance of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) and how it contributes to student success in and outside of school. Discussed teaching strategies that CRT teachers need to know, including self-reflection, and how to become a teacher who not only values and understands diversity but also embraces it in his/her practice.
