- Conference Presenter – 3rd International Globalization, Diversity and Education Conference, Spokane, WA – 2007, Presented on the importance of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) and how it contributes to student success in and outside of school. Discussed teaching strategies that CRT teachers need to know, including self-reflection, and how to become a teacher who not only values and understands diversity but also embraces it in his/her practice.
